My Favorite Makeup Remover Products

I don’t think I can imagine life without makeup. I always loved it and it’s not going to change. Although now that I’m older (and wiser) my makeup routine has changed a lot from the beginning. When I was younger I never cared what I put on my face. As long as it looked good or I thought what looked good. Actually some might have looked horrible but who cares about the past anyway. Now I’m much more picky. I love eco-friendly and cruelty-free products and I have cut out almost all silicone products. They are just not healthy. No matter what people tell you. Mark my words! It’s not only important what you put on your face. The removal of it is also important. Here are my favorites. Let’s start with Alverde’s cleansing gel. It’s an organic brand that’s of course cruelty-free. The cleansing gel is vegan and very soft to the skin but also removes the makeup thoroughly. Once a week I use Aqua Peeling from the same brand. I like it a lot and it’s the best I have tried so far. I’m not fond of harsh ones.

II have tried a lot of Makeup remover wipes and hands down these are the best. It’s hard to believe cos they are so "cheap“ but they are totally amazing. If you can get your hands on the Balea Reinigungstücher 3 In 1 give it a try.

Last but not least the L’oreal Micellar Cleansing Water. You can use it on the whole face but I just use it for the removal of my eye makeup. It removes all traces of makeup even the long-lasting stuff that hardly comes off without rubbing your skin off

  16. Hi Mira! So glad to see you doing some beauty posts, I'm really excited about it! :) I totally agree with you, I didn't care much about skincare as well when I was a teenager, but now that I'm older I feel the need to be very careful on what I should put on my face especially since I have sensitive skin. The products you're using looks really amazing, I wish I can get my hands on them! Skincare products that are gels are a girl's best weapon for dry skin, especially during cold days.. they work better and safer for the skin too :) Thanks for such an informative post Mira! <3

Take care always, love Christine ~ xx

  18. I totally agree. We shoud really be careful with what I use on our face, and what we use to take it off :)

r: Thank you for your comment sweety :)

I never saw the scarf here in Portugal either. I bought it in London, so I guess it is an UK only item :p
About not being able to distinguish black from navy... Never mind that honey. My mom and I are always fighting about colors, we never agree. So one of us must be color blind for sure! (just between us, I think it's me :p). But...So what?:D

  23. Girrrrrrl I am just like you. When I was younger I didn't care too much but these days I won't buy anything unless I know it's completely cruelty free (not just passing it on to another company to do the testing for them). No point really, plus I have uber sensitive skin so most things dry it out and all. I also don't just go out and try new products because of the weird sensitive factor too. I've become boring like that lol and going past beauty blogs I always want to try products they review but I never do because of the above.

I hope you guys have been doing well Mira, wishing you all the very best for 2015 dolls

    1. Thank you Sonia. Yes we are fine. I hope you too. I know what you mean with sensitive skin. There's so many products that I don't try cos they have ingredients that I don't like :D

  24. Oh, lovely! You've got a new blog, Mira!!! So, this is your personal thing I guess? I will have to try those Balea wipes. I normally use some micellar water with some oil remover mixed into one, that works best for me, but no wipes.. Glad you bought those knives and, most importantly, you think they are good. As I say, if ceramic knives are good they are very good and last ages, if not good, nothing you can do about them, you can't sharpen them...

    1. Yes that's right Min. My own personal space. I share here the stuff that's not "fancy" enough for the glamdevils haha. Or so I think. I'm quite happy with the wipes. They remove the most of the makeup and then I just wash my face with the gel. Works perfect. Yes the knives are awesome :D

  26. At first, I was really terrible at make-up removing. I just used to wash my face but now I have graduated to using Aloe Cleanser and night cream. This year, I hope to improve more.
